I have an account with a different provider and I changed the main email account for the WHMCS account which updated fine.
So I try to log in with it but got Login Failed. So I log back in with the old email address which logged me. The new email shows on the account.
Ok, so I change the main email back to the old one and go to User Management and send an invite to the new email address thinking I could set it as the primary email address but it does not work. When the invite is sent it says
You’ve been given access to <snipped>.
<snipped> has given you access to the <snipped> account with <snipped>
To accept the invite, please click on the link below.
Accept invitation
Invitations are valid for 7 days from the time of issue. After that time, you will need to request a new invitation from the account administrator.
When click Accept invitation it says
Your user account is already associated with the target invite account
What the!?
This has caused issues for a lot of people since WHMCS added User Management.
What am I doing wrong here? Or is it a bug?
