Vectra AI, a cybersecurity firm specializing in AI-powered threat detection, announced the opening of a new office in Bangalore, India, marking a significant step in its global expansion strategy. The move strengthens the company’s presence in the Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) region and reflects its commitment to investing in innovation, talent, and regional growth.
Founded in 2011 and headquartered in San Jose, California, Vectra AI is known for its use of artificial intelligence to detect and respond to sophisticated cyber threats across modern digital networks. The company first expanded internationally with offices in EMEA and APJ in 2018 and 2019, respectively. With this latest development, it is doubling down on its ambition to scale its technical and operational capabilities globally.
The new Bangalore office will focus on recruiting across multiple domains including engineering, data science, marketing, finance, customer support, and operations. Currently, Vectra AI employs around 50 people across India, and the company plans to expand this number as it ramps up hiring in the region. The Bangalore hub will play a key role in Vectra AI’s product development and innovation pipeline, leveraging the city’s deep pool of technical talent.
