There are exceptions but you generally don’t hear about it.
For example – when was the last time you went out of your way to write posts on forums to tell everyone how not-terrible your provider was and how you just didn’t need to contact them because things were going smoothly? Maybe you did – but most do not.
People generally only post / share when things are going poorly.
You’ll hear about any hosts going down hill / turning to crap. You generally won’t hear about sales where things stay the same or improve.
Do I wish this were not the case? Sure. I’d love it if more people using quality hosting providers were more vocal about how great their providers are but that’s just not how most people work.
