Gcore, a global provider of edge AI, cloud, network, and security solutions, said today that Prof. Dr. Feiyu Xu, an expert in AI, has joined its board, strengthening it. Prof. Dr. Xu is a well-known AI researcher who has held important leadership positions at the German Research Centre for AI, SAP, and Lenovo. Her hiring reaffirms Gcore’s dedication to advancing AI innovation and sector leadership.
The company’s long-term objectives, growth plans, and AI vision will be shaped in part by Prof. Dr. Xu. The most recent addition to Gcore’s product line since its establishment in 2014 is Everywhere Inference, which provides a variety of deployment choices, including cloud, on-premise, and hybrid settings. Everywhere Inference allows apps and end users to process and respond more quickly by operating on edge points of presence. Dr. Xu will oversee Gcore’s development and innovation in the edge AI space as the first Gcore Board Advisor to occupy a prominent role in AI research and innovation.
