[NEWS] Batteries must be user removable and replaceable by 2027
A month ago EU adopted new regulation, by which portable batteries incorporated into appliances should be user removable and replaceable by 2027. Some sources report, that there are exceptions for waterproof devices with high quality batteries (those preserving 80% capacity after 1000 charging cycles), so we’re yet to see if it brings some major changes in design of portable devices.
