Jeff Danielson was named Chief Operating Officer by Logix Fiber Networks, marking a significant leadership change that will assist steer the business’s next stage of development and expansion throughout Texas. Danielson will answer directly to Greg O’Connor, the CEO. His appointment, which comes after the company’s recent recapitalization, fortifies Logix’s leadership group as it expedites investments in its high-capacity fiber network and improvements to the customer experience.

With over two decades of executive experience, Danielson has worked for top telecom companies such as Comcast, Cogent, T-Mobile, Sprint, and Ericsson. In the past, he has led sizable operational teams through times of expansion and change and scaled intricate network infrastructure.

Providing high-performance connectivity, carrier-grade Ethernet, wavelength connectivity up to 400G, dark fiber, and dedicated internet access to thousands of businesses and carriers, Logix operates one of the largest independent fiber networks in Texas, with over 300,000 fiber miles and over 3,000 on-network buildings. Logix plans to enhance its offers and capabilities while expanding its presence in Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, and San Antonio. Logix’s wavelength service to data centers in the Dallas metro area and Austin was upgraded to 400 Gb/s in recent months, and it intends to soon expand that to 800G.
