Home host questions and little help!
Hello all im new here
i have a domain and hosting but very little space.
i have a hp proliant dl380p gen8 with 3X 2 TB hdd’s with static public ip from ISP(did port forward on my router for 80 and 443)
on my hosting cpanel i changed the ip on zone editor for my domain and it points to my website as it should.
right now i have debian installed with apache2,php8.2,mariadb (and all packages required) and running wordpress with SSL from certbot. short url do not work, if i try to enable them i get error on wordpress with page not found.
i was looking online and i found hestiacp but im a bit stuck on install cause it requires for a subdomain or some NS.
do i require a name server or is enough that i just changed the ip from zone editor? id like to host my own website cause i have plenty of resources.thank you
