So i signedup a few clients who had outgrown shared hosting on contabo and its been about an year now and while I had everything good to say with their uptime until now, the nightmare came across on this weekend when 2 VPS on the same host went down and they have absolutely no support whatsoever even for emergencies and especially during weekend
. Their uptime maybe good and i was all praises all through the year but when i needed them to look over their own network which was down, they were nowhere to be found.
So if you have a website which has outgrown shared hosting and you can afford isolated, rare weekend downtimes like i’m going through now, contabo is not bad for the buck you spend. However, if you need a host that would respond and atleast manage their own house properly, then avoid them at all costs.
All in all, was all good upto now and have a few VPS paid for until end of year but will start migrating elsewhere as soon as the subscriptions start to end.
