Mirantis, a Kubernetes-native AI infrastructure company that helps businesses create and run scalable, secure, and independent AI infrastructure in any setting, announced the hiring of Jerry Ibrahim as chief technology officer, go-to-market (CTO, GTM) and Richard Borenstein as senior vice president of business development.
Borenstein will drive high-impact partnerships and strategic expansion while leading the company’s growth strategy and partner ecosystem transformation. In order to guarantee that Mirantis provides efficient solutions that satisfy changing market demands, Ibrahim will spearhead technical sales alignment and field involvement.
“With expanding enterprise adoption of open source infrastructure, we’re investing in leadership that can deepen partner collaboration and translate technical capability into business value,” stated Alex Freedland, CEO of Mirantis. “Jerry and Richard provide the kind of seasoned, results-driven leadership that will enable Mirantis to scale up its growth.” Their background in forming alliances and promoting technical congruence with client objectives is precisely what is required to boost adoption of Mirantis’ solutions, enhance engagement, and speed up growth.”
Borenstein has decades of practical expertise establishing and growing go-to-market campaigns and high-impact strategic partnerships with some of the top tech businesses globally. In his most recent role as RingCentral’s chief business development officer, he forged multinational alliances that greatly increased the company’s global reach and brand recognition.
Throughout Mirantis’ go-to-market initiatives, Ibrahim, a seasoned technology executive with over 30 years of experience inventing and transforming large multinational corporations, will match technical strategy with customer needs. He has been an advisor to Mirantis for the past year before joining the company. Ibrahim previously served as IT CTO at VMware. He has also held leadership positions at Juniper Networks, Align Technology, and Tesla.
These new hires further Mirantis’ overarching goal of assisting clients in keeping control of their infrastructure and simplifying cloud computing. In response to the increasing demand for vendor-neutral solutions that can function at the edge and across clouds, Mirantis is coordinating its leadership to boost client onboarding, increase service capabilities, and promote long-term revenue development.
